Daniel Schiffers camera movements are very unique as he follows the subject he is filming with the camera in a very quick but understandable way.. One of his most famous camera movements is called the 'slide', the slide is used all the time by him. That is when he slides the camera forward, backwards, left and right depending on where the knife moves. For example, if a knife moves forwards, towards the camera, the camera moves backwards.
The second most popular camera movement that Daniel Schiffer performs that he does almost every shoot is called the ' FPV'. This is where Daniel follows the actors hands wherever they go and whatever they pick up. This is a really hard movement to do even though Daniel knows the actions that the actor is going to make. I also wanted to mention that Daniel does not use many gimbals. He usually only shoots handheld. That, for a filmmaker is uncommon sadly, He only uses gimbals if he ever has to run, walk or to perform camera movements that are not possible with the human hands.
It is not all camera movements that make his movies absolutely amazing. Most of it is slight of hand. For example, there was one movie he made where he had to get a snowboard out of it's box that it was shipped in. 1 person held the back of the box sideways (he was not in the frame).
